Built specifically for Supermoto
fans that use their bikes every day, the SM 610 is a perfect
blend of performance and stunning good looks. This years' model
has be improved upon with a Kokusan 360W three-phase ignition
flywheel. The water temperature sensor is now positioned on
the head. New components include the rugged polyethylene fuel
tank. The rear fender now has a new separate number plate carrier
with an independent illumination light. The saddle has been
redesigned and has new padding to improve both rider and passenger
comfort. The chassis can be fitted with a center stand that
is available as an option.
The SMR450 and SMR510 models are genuine replicas of the world
Motard championship winning machines ridden by the official
Husqvarna team. The two engines that differ only in strokes
of 60.7 and 67.8 mm respectively now have larger sized valves.
The intake valves have increased from 33 to 37 mm and exhaust
from 28.5 to 31 mm. The intake cams are also new as are the
redesigned inlet and exhaust manifolds. The SM 450/510 models
now benefit from a newly designed Gianelli exhaust system that
improves performance and meets with Euro 3 standards. New 50
mm Marzocchi forks, tried and tested in World series races by
Adrien Chareyre are now fitted to the machines. The rear brake
disc now measures 240 mm with 26 mm Brembo callipers governed
by a pump with an integrated reservoir whereas the front brakes
have been fitted with new mixed-composite pads. The front brakes
are completely new with a 320 mm diameter disc, “racing”
pump and adjustable lever. The radial callipers further improve
braking efficiency and adjustability. The 450 and 510 R are
fitted with San Remo wheels and a new rear mudguard that has
been modified to both support the lamp cluster and number plate
carrier.
By the way, keep the rubber side down.
